A White Angel visits us last night!-Female Luna Moth -photo Rob de Koter
We were totally surprised as we opened our front door to find a huge looking insect or bird? flying against our glass storm door. It was as large as my hand! We did not know what it was- a bird? large insect?! no head really weird but beautiful. It was like a white angel with white transparent wings outlined in lime-green and pink-Amazing! It was trying desperately to come in. Our dog went crazy and would have liked to grab it! Good thing the glass door was protecting it./us. We immediately looked it up in Wikipedia-thanks Wikipedia! We found it was a male Luna Moth attempting to find a mate. They mate , thereafter dying. They live only 1 day!! Please read below............... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Actias_luna

OMG -Bloggers Beware! - Online Text Editor used Faulty Codes!
My online text editor produced faulty code! Today I was checking my website and text-All of the sudden I saw a text-not English-not complete sentences-everything mixed up like a word cocktail without sense! Over 6000 viewers last week read who knows what!-I'm sorry to all my readers, collectors of my art and friends!-What a mess. My web designer, Rob de Koter, cleaned out the codes that were faulty! Thanks to him the texts are now corrected. Beware- all bloggers- check your texts on other computers and keep an eye on it.

Architecture and Arch.Elements in paintings by Christina Jarmolinski
I thought I would show a row of paintings with architecture and it's elements. While traveling, I made sketches or took photos of places I was attracted to. Many of these paintings are sold to art collectors in USA and Europe. All are painted in acrylics, some on canvases and others on wood. The buildings are in Maine, Miami, Amsterdam, Germany and Tuscany.

Salvador Dali's 109th Birthday
It was Salvador Dali's 109th Birthday. I followed his tracks in Spain-viewing Figueras and his Museum, which Dali created and is the best I've seen on a collection of Dali and his surreal architecture of the Museum. It was fascinating. I later went by boat to smaller village of Port Lligat, the place where Dalí sought the peace and wild parties and where he built his house, where he lived his surrealistic life. I enjoyed seeing Dali in Spain, where he was born and worked. In St. Petersburg, Florida, you can also visit Dali. http://thedali.org/home.php I've studied him and let his genius inspire me as you can see on the pendant I created and the painting above. Wikipedia free- offers below a photo of his Museum. The Huffington Post acknowledged his 109 th Birthday with a write up, I thought would be of interest.
