After spending 4 days enjoying country sides with fields of corn, old farmhouses, Victorian ancient homes, Ocean City beach, the waves the happiness everybody shares with you in the crisp air of the Atlantic,
Reality hit us! On the trip back the cruelty of mankind towards animals gave us a devastating feel.
Where is our responsibility towards animals?
Please only consume eggs from chicken allowed to walk and feed from the ground and please realize everytime you eat a chicken or other animals, they have sacrificed their lives for us, humans. I am not yet a vegetarian, but after seeing those poor birds going to slaughter and definitely knowing their destiny, it makes me want to refrain from meat.
As for the dog, in Florida- the woman told me "He stinks, so he rides outside in the back!" Excuse me-take care of him and wash him more often. Take care of his wounds.........................
Sorry to end my trip with this sad note, but I can not ignore what is happening.
I am an artist and critical, not only the positive crosses my mind or my eyes..............
