After the horrible news of 9/11, I made this collage. The disaster and the devastation we all experienced was unbelievable!
At that time I was watching CNN with my American girlfriend, Phyllis in Germany! We just could not fathom what was happening.
Her daughter worked nearby in NY and she tried for hours to reach her. We were so far away and just hung onto every word and photo we could see on TV.
It was an event in our lives and all Americans we will never forget!
