We started our trip driving up North in the direction of Delaware and Maryland. This was the first exciting feature.
This is the Bridge tunnel between Virginia Beach and Maryland. I had feared this in anticipation and it turned out to be really interesting.
You enter the tunnel over a bridge then dive unter the water into the tunnel, back up and the same once more until you have reached Maryland.
An amazing architectural achievement!
