Autumn Delight at Petunia's of Naples with Pulse Magazine

These are 2 of my creations using semi-precious stones, mainly from India and Tibet. My jewelry was featured last fall in Pulse Magazine of Naples and is shown at Petunia's of Naples and in Grandeur at Gannon's of Fort Myers, Florida. I enjoy working with these precious stones and arranging them to be compatible to each other in color, shape, texture and vibrations. This being some of which I learned with my Guru in India - how stones belong together and give the correct radiance and powers.

The Universe is my Palette-Fly me to the Center I by Christina Jarmolinski

The "Universe is my Palette" is the concept of my art. I need more space, more involvement, space for my mind to complete my actions of my perception of life, society, of the spiritual, interpreting all this into my art. A larger studio would also be great to go into the 3-d on my canvases. Larger- more canvases, paints and the ability to show this to the world - thus the internet and my website. This is my concept. A dreamer?- Why not- Artists must dream to develop their art, to express their ideas and to have an audience. The echo, the resonance' of the viewer is important. Am I creating my art to be understood?- or shouldn't it be understood, admired, collected? Even the abstract-the Pop Art Expressions- should they be understood? I would like my viewer to enjoy, have fun and go deeper into my art, promoting thought. My thoughts on this Sunday. I guess I put it out there today......................

Lakshmi was still a puppy when she found her way up on top of the table to sit next to my Autumn display of the pumpkins and flowers. She sunned herself with the others and loved it! So naturally I needed to paint her. About 9 yrs ago.

Froggie in the early morning by Chrisitna Jarmolinski

I just wanted to plop down in my lounge chair to read, but something out of ordinary caught my eye! A frog! How was this possible-they quack all night long in their Frog concert, which I just love and by day they vanish. So why did this little guy stay back?- and in an enclosed cage-our lanai! So I decided to carefully try to photograph him without awakening the little fellow. He did not budge. He starred at me for a while-then slowly his eyelids closed and he hung onto the edge of the chair the whole day! Thank God my dog did not see him. Hope you enjoy the fun I had observing him...............

Postcard from Marino Marini to Christina Jarmolinski

After seeing Marino Marini's Retrospective Art Show in the Haus der Kunst Museum in Munich, Germany, I wrote to the master expressing my compassion for his works. I never thought to receive an answer- about 1/2 year later this postcard was sent to me by Marino Marini himself from Miland, Italy! I will always treasure this and the excitement receiving these greetings from such a world famous artist of the twentieth century! Although he has long passed away, I will forever be grateful to him. I believed this to be a sign to go on with my art. See date! Thank You Marino Marini!
