A Walk to the Hat Shop with my Dog by Christina Jarmolinski
This painting is acrylic and on a large-scale canvas of 120x160cm. Last week I took a stroll through the old city of Weiden /OBF. There I sawinteresting architecture with arcades. It was in the evening, so the shops were lighted brightly and one could experience their decorations. Among the many little boutiques I saw a hat shop. It was a tiny space, with a half mannequin with hat. There ere arcades sorrounding this shop. This was my inspiration to this painting. Since the world is full of depressing news and turmoils, I decided to show the light side of a lady just walking her dog heading for the bespoked tiny hat shop.

Ein Spaziergang zum Hutgeschäft mit meinem Hund von Christina Jarmolinski
Dieses Werk ist in Acryl und auf einer großformatigen Leinwand von 120x160cm. Letzte Woche machte ich einen Spaziergang durch die Altstadt von Weiden /OBF. Dort sah ich interessante Architektur mit Arkaden. Es war am Abend, so dass die Geschäfte hell erleuchtet waren und man ihre Dekorationen erleben konnte. Unter den vielen kleinen Boutiquen sah ich einen Hutladen. Es war ein winziger Raum, mit einer halben Schaufensterpuppe mit Hut. Es gab Arkaden, die dieses Geschäft umgaben. Das war meine Inspiration für dieses Werk. Da die Welt voller deprimierender Nachrichten und Unruhen ist, beschloss ich, die helle Seite einer Frau zu zeigen, die gerade mit ihrem Hund spazieren geht und auf den kleinen beschilderten Hutladen zusteuert.
