This was fun. I was supplied with "important photos" of my clients trips, dog and portrait photo.
There was also a photo of the motorcycle, which just didn't fit into my composition. I didn't know that this was the "Key" for them.
It was hard work combining the trip to Turkey and their dog. 3 motives worked for me as a composition.
As my client entered my studio, the first thing she said was "That's him- but where is the motorcycle?"
We had a good laugh.
The next day was her husband's birthday and this was his present.
So I added the missing piece. I would have loved to change the coloring, but she insisted on a pencil drawing.
She loved it then and I was relieved. First time in my career of 40 years did I need to compromise.
So, you see, you can always learn............
We had a good time drinking coffee and talking about art, my art.
So it was a compromise.
