An Afternoon in Autumn with my Canon in my Neighborhood

I decided to drive in a radius of approximately 2.5 miles from my home and studio. It is autumn and the leaves have turned their colors and are slowly falling. I wanted to secure this feeling before the rain set in. It is amazing how diverse and creative this area, mainly agricultural besides the coastline, can be. And yet it is only 10 minutes from the center of Salisbury, MD, its University http://www.salisbury.edu and shopping districts. This area of the Eastern Shore is new and provocative to me, due to its quite and serene established way of life here, different to the other areas I have lived in. I enjoy it here. It forces me to reflect life and my art. To make decisions, to change old habits, also in my art.

My palette is slowly changing again, as many times before, depending on the country or culture and climate I have lived in. I am again pursuing a spiritual aspect to my art expression, perhaps a more delicate and transparent path. From Expressionism, Pop Art and bold Figurative paintings to an abstract expression. Time will tell...........
